Who we are?

English Academia team is a collection of EFL instructors and IT experts. The team has been active collecting a variety of topics on general English, TEFL, general linguistics, and other human science fields. English Academia crew is as follows;


Site Manager: Dr. Asgari, an MA holder in TEFL and a PhD. Candidate in political science. He is also a faculty member of IAU, Eastern Tehran Campus. Dr. Asgari is an International journalist who has been working with BBC news network and has written numerous articles in different international journals and newspapers.


Technical Advisor: Dr. Motahhari, a PhD. Holder in TEFL, and a faculty member of IAU, Central Tehran Campus. He is currently teaching masters courses in TEFL and Translation Studies. Dr. Motahhari has presented papers in national conferences in Tabriz IAU, 2000, and Tehran IAU, 2002. He was also the host organizer of IAU International Conference 2009, joined by Rod Ellis.  His areas of research interest and studies include culture, philosophy, semiotics, and TEFL.


 


 

What we do?

English Academia’s main goal is to provide an opportunity for all English students in all levels to get access to materials in pdf. format, audio, and video in different topics. Moreover, members and non members can browse over the virtual shop available in the site and purchase educational packages related to language learning, IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, and GMAT.

 In addition, English Academia is an opportunity for MA students in TEFL, Translation Studies, and other related disciplines to get in touch with faculty members and seek advice and inspiration for their studies. Besides, this site offers an array of on- line services regarding thesis writing tips; such as ideas for proposal.

Due to English Academia’s access to a wide array of English students, the site can also provide an opportunity for ESL researchers to sample participants for different research studies and get in touch with them via e-mail. We are also willing to expend statistical analyses of data for MA students, and provide them with a variety of validated questionnaires for research.

Members can also seek advice from a team of university professors and certified IELTS examiners. You can also have the opportunity to share your papers with other members and ask them for their opinion before trying to publish them.
